Without a doubt, little Penny the Jack Russell Terrier is one of the most playful dogs that Harry has ever known. She's a livewire 'playing machine' who never tires of running, jumping and playing with her toys or with the other dogs. She will even improvise a toy from whatever she finds on the playing field, whether it be a stick, an empty plastic bottle, or just about anything that she can make a game out of. Perhpas some of her ability to improvise stems from the poor start in life that Penny endured, having spent most of the first year of her life 'behind bars' living in an outdoor environment where she didn't quite get the same chance to play as other dogs might have done. She's certainly making up for lost time now!

She is also very 'soft' and loving, and likes nothing more than a cuddle from any member of the family. she 'talks' a lot too, and is often heard making litlte noises as she stands or sits in front of Harry carrying on a very one-sided conversation! She also loves nothing more than to play with Snoopy the puppy, the latest addition to Harry's Pack and it's often hard to work out who's tiring who out the most!
