Aged only 11 months when he first came to Harry's home, Dylan's Tale is perhaps one of the most harrowing in the series of 'Harry Porter's Dog Tales'. Now 4 years old, Dylan had a most appalling start in life, and at one time was afraid of almost everything and everybody. No longer however, as he is now a loving, and very loved member of the pack.

The 'Lord Dylan' nickname comes from the fact that this delightful little Bedlington Terrier has developed into a real 'gentleman' of the dog world, and is most certainly an aristocratic little boy. He loves to relax in his bed, and can be quite aloof at times, preferring to lie down and sleep while the others expend their energies in more playful pursuits. Dylan hates to get dirty and will spend ages cleaning his paws if he thinks they are little muddy or if he has a bit of grass stuck to him. He loves to be cuddled and will drape himself around Harry or his wife like a scarf, trying to get as close as possible to those he loves.
If not for the fact that he is so 'laid back' in the home, Dylan would probably have been a close challenger to Tilly for the 'Top Dog' title, but his love of his bed, (well, anyone's bed actually) and the quieter life means that Dylan would prefer to rest and relax rather then become involved in the petty squabbles that would be necessary in order to challenge for leadership of the pack.
